Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ResumePass collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our ATS resume-scanning service.
1. Information we collect
Account information: your email address and authentication details when you register or sign in.
Resume content: the resume text you paste or upload (including PDF file contents) and any job descriptions you provide for tailoring.
Analysis results: the scores, keyword analysis, and suggestions generated from your scans, stored so you can review them later.
Payment metadata: we do not store card details. Payments are handled by Whop, our payment provider; we only receive confirmation of your purchase and the email used at checkout.
Usage data: basic analytics about how you interact with the app, such as feature usage events.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Run ATS analyses on your resume and return results to you.
- Save your scan history so you can revisit it from your dashboard.
- Verify purchases and grant access to paid plans.
- Improve the quality of our analysis and the product itself.
- Communicate with you about your account when necessary.
3. How your resume is processed
To produce your ATS score and suggestions, your resume text and any job description are sent to a third-party AI language model. We send only the content needed to generate the analysis and do not use your resume to train external models.
4. Data retention
Your scan history is kept for as long as your account is active so you can review past results. If you delete your account, your resume analyses and associated data are removed. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu.
5. Third-party services
We rely on the following third parties, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Whop — processes payments and subscription management.
- AI providers — generate the resume analysis from the content you submit.
- Hosting & infrastructure — the platform that stores your account and scan data.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including authenticated access to your account and encrypted data transmission. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Deleting your account removes your resume content and scan history. To make other requests, contact support.
8. Cookies and authentication
We use authentication tokens to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties.
9. Children's privacy
ResumePass is not intended for users under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact support so we can delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of ResumePass after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
11. Contact
