Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms govern your use of ResumePass. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using ResumePass, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use ResumePass. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it if it changes. You may delete your account at any time from the account menu.
4. The service
ResumePass provides AI-powered analysis of resumes to estimate compatibility with Applicant Tracking Systems. Scores and suggestions are informational guidance, not professional career advice or a guarantee of any employment outcome.
5. Free and paid plans
Each account includes one free ATS scan. Additional scans require either a one-time single-analysis purchase or an Unlimited subscription. Plan features and pricing are described on our pricing page and may change at any time, with changes taking effect for future purchases.
6. Payment and billing
Payments are processed by Whop. You authorize Whop to charge your payment method for the plan you select. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time through Whop; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period.
7. Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with a one-time purchase, contact support within 7 days and we will review your request. Subscription payments for partial billing periods are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use ResumePass for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates these Terms.
- Attempt to access another user's data or circumvent usage limits or paywalls.
- Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes others' rights.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
9. Intellectual property
ResumePass, its branding, and its software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the resumes you submit. We receive a limited license to process your submitted content solely to provide the analysis to you.
10. Disclaimers
ResumePass is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any analysis will be accurate or lead to a job offer.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumePass and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will remain in effect.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of ResumePass after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
